Modern Zen Primary Bathroom Remodel In Anaheim

A Zen bathroom design invokes a peaceful state of mind by incorporating an open airy space while borrowing elements from nature. This bathroom remodel in Anaheim mixes a tranquil ambiance with a coastal vibe enhancing a sense of calm and peaceful relaxation.

Encouraging a minimalist lifestyle, the stunning Kitchen Craft floating vanity with shaker style cabinetry and black hardware adds warm vibes and a modern touch. The tall linen cabinet sitting to the left includes extra storage as well as a pull-out laundry hamper. The black framed mirrors and sleek black wall sconces add an elegant minimalistic touch sitting against a sandy white porcelain tile accent wall. The Tuscan finish maple wood vanity includes dual white undermount sinks with widespread matte black faucets. Adding dimension and perspective is a crisp white polished quartz stone countertop with bold flowing grey veins and wispy threads of dynamic blue-grey veining.

Bringing the feel of the outdoors into the bathroom is a coastally inspired neutral palette of frosted mosaic river glass to the shower floor. This client in Irvine relied upon creativity and smart selection to construct a space that includes neutral tones and clean lines in their new chic bathroom renovations.

Primary Bathroom

Encapsulating a spa-like atmosphere, the decor in the Primary bathroom lends a calm and peaceful vibe. The frameless shower includes a heavy-duty glass shower enclosure with a through-the-glass tubular towel bar/ handle combo in satin brass. Adding depth and dimension to the shower are porcelain tiles stacked in a Chevron pattern resembling marble including a corner shelf. A large shower niche includes a metal mosaic backsplash in a gold gravity arrow pattern with satin gold Schluter trim. The shower floor is a naturally slip resistant gray stone pebble that also feels comfortable underfoot.

Adjacent the shower is a freestanding tub with a built-in overflow system and wall mounted tub spout in satin gold. Chevron patterned porcelain tiles surround the tub acting as a splashguard as well as make the room appear larger. Adding an elegant touch is a satin gold trim.

The dual vanity includes two undermount sinks with widespread faucets in satin gold. Full access Omega cabinets with modern flat panel doors provide a neutral tone in a Miso stain. Adding a look of glam is a polished quartz stone countertop in Sereno Gold including a 5” backsplash. A large lighted mirror sits above the vanity creating an illusion of a bigger space while the porcelain flooring lights up the room in a white cream satin finish.

Guest Bathroom

The guest bathroom also exudes a glamorous and sophisticated look including Omega full access cabinets in a bold Amalfi blue with brushed gold pulls. Topping the cabinetry is a polished quartz countertop in Sereno Gold including a 5” backsplash and 2 undermount sinks with gold widespread faucets. A large, illuminated mirror sits above making the space feel brighter and more open.

Large porcelain tiles stacked horizontally in Blanco white line the shower walls including a satin gold Schluter trim. Bone white hexagon mosaic tiles made of porcelain add a bright and fresh look to the floor. The shower niche makes a statement with a long hexagon mosaic backsplash made of natural pearls, accented with satin gold trim. Also included is a new shower head and glass double door sliding system with a towel bar in satin brass.

The Mid-Century style originated during the middle of the 20th century, when steel and compressed woods were all the rage. Characterized by clean lines and sleek, minimalistic designs, this modern look can add contemporary elegance as well as value to any home remodel. This Primary bathroom remodel in Monarch Beach characterizes minimal fuss along with sleek lines and geometric shapes.

A great element that can help to build your mid-century design is the cabinetry scheme. Encapsulating the Mid-century modern design are sleek, floating Omega Full Access cherry wood cabinets featuring straightforward polished nickel hardware. A double vanity with undermount sinks is set into a polished quartz countertop in “Sereno Gold” featuring wide spread faucets in polished nickel. The sink and vanity niche feature a backsplash tiled in stacked glazed ceramic tiles in “shoji white”. Three LED wall sconces put on an elegant display featuring a smooth aluminum rectangular backplate accenting an opal glass sphere. Adding a touch of modern luxury are two multifunctional lighted bathroom mirrors featuring make-up lighting, a demister to prevent the mirror from steaming up as well as a sound system. Two additional storage areas with matching cabinets were also included, one features a quartz countertop and stacked glazed ceramic tiles in “shoji white”.

Contrasting the stark angularity of the cabinets is a petite curved freestanding tub with a floor mounted tub filler and shower wand in polished nickel. Above sits a large window drawing in an ambiance of natural light. Creating a spacious feel in the bathroom is a custom glass shower enclosure featuring a through-the-glass handle and hinges in brushed nickel. Adding a popular touch of Mid-century Modern style, the shower floor and two shower niches feature 2” round mosaic glazed ceramic tiles in “Kumo Gray” with an aluminum brushed nickel Schluter trim. A raised shower head in polished nickel features a sliding shower bar with a removable multifunction handheld shower wand. Adding dimension to the bathroom floors are Makoto, geometric tiles in “Shoji White”, completing the classic Mid-Century Modern look.

Presenting a modern look to an enduring classic, the Renner style shaker cabinets offer a traditional twist with an ultramodern attitude. The polished “Absolute White” quartz countertops feature an ogee square edge with a chrome widespread faucet and square undermount sink. An elegant floor to ceiling accent wall and shampoo niche features a stylish combination of white and gray marble tile in a delicate floral pattern.

Even though the guest bathroom is on the smaller side, marble walls that can be seen through glass doors can give off a spa-like feel. California Casual Guest Bathroom Remodel in Mission Viejo

When you think of California, the first thing that comes to mind is sandy beaches, deep blue waters, and relaxation. The California Casual decorating style reflects just that. It is all about airiness, natural tones and a sense of connectedness to the outdoors. When this family in Mission Viejo requested a casual California look for their guest bathroom remodel, we eagerly accepted, and it turned out brilliantly!

Starting at the vanity, we installed custom Kemper cabinets adding a coat of white paint to the exterior and kept a natural birch interior. A rectangular Kohler, undermount sink is set into a polished quartz countertop with a 6 inch back splash in a sandy color called ‘Pebble Rock’. Two floating shelves in natural wood tones were added for additional storage above the counter. Elegant splashes of champagne bronze are found throughout the bathroom tying in that glamorous California vibe. The flooring displays a mesmerizing star shaped pattern featuring Cosmo Blue porcelain tiles.

Adding depth and dimension, the shower/tub combo features ceramic white polished tiles in a herringbone pattern. A custom shower niche with a pop of ocean blue penny-round tiles was included to hold everyday bath essentials. A levity sliding bath door featuring a smooth roller design, crystal clear glass panels and an anodized brushed bronze frame by Kohler creates an open, inviting space for bathing.

We continued the coastal vibe just outside of the bathroom by creating a nook for additional storage. Accenting the ‘Pebble Rock’ quartz counter are white Kemper, Marimac style, shaker cabinets with vertical champagne bronze handles. Keeping it clean and simple are two floating shelves in natural wood that help keep accessories organized.
