The ‘Master Bathroom’ is a space that has only been around for about 40 years. It has evolved dramatically throughout the decades and has only recently become the place where we try to find ultimate tranquility. From color schemes to materials to functionality, every element must work together to create a harmonious design.
A Primary Bathroom should be hygienic and functional but also calming and relaxing. This light and clean Primary Bathroom design in Mission Viejo creates an illusion that the small bathroom looks bigger than it is. Generously sized vanity mirrors reflect upon the light cream-colored walls, enhancing the perception of the space. The pearl white Omega cabinetry brightens the room with polished quartz stone countertops in Cygnet Drift. Bold and trendy matte black accents create a striking contrast while also adding a pop of color. Transitional with a hint of glam, the vanity lights feature a scroll shaped body mounted vertically on both sides of the mirrors.
The star of the bathroom is the book-matched slabs of porcelain on the shower wall, showing proof of amazing craftsmanship. Lining up the veining not only enhances the space but also adds visual interest. Using a glass enclosure allows for an unobstructed view as well as an open and airy feel. A shower niche and bench were also included in a porcelain tile called Morningside, that trickles down to the shower flooring and throughout the bathroom. Enhancing the soothing mood is a freestanding soaking tub featuring a luxurious in-floor tub filler.
Keeping it simple, a monochromatic color palette was used to create a clean yet stylish laundry room. To create more storage space, pearl white Omega shaker cabinets with brushed nickel knobs were added above the washer and dryer. The undermount sink is set into a marble-like polished quartz countertop on an Omega vanity featuring a matte black, single handled pull-down prep faucet. Low maintenance and easy to clean, bacteria resistant glazed porcelain tiles add a modern touch in a hexagon shape.
