About the Project

Custom Cabinetry with Striking Contrast

The perimeter cabinetry is Waypoint® maple, in White Linen for a bright, clean look. Flat black cabinet pulls add a modern edge, while the black-painted kitchen island and matching custom range hood create a bold focal point. Sleek brushed satin nickel hardware on the island enhances the upscale feel.

Durable Quartz Countertops

The countertops feature polished Silestone® quartz in Ethereal Noctis with a mitered edge, combining luxurious appearance with exceptional durability. These quartz countertops are perfect for busy kitchens, resisting stains, scratches, and heat while offering timeless style.

Stylish Chevron Tile Backsplash

A ceramic tile backsplash from the Vivace series in “Incline Rice” is installed in a chevron pattern, adding texture and movement to the design. The warm tones in the tile complement the crisp cabinetry and dark accents, creating a cohesive look.

Elegant Lighting and Functional Fixtures

Two clear glass pendant lights hang above the island, providing soft illumination and a touch of modern elegance. The Undermount Single-Bowl Workstation Sink in Dune is paired with a matte black pull-down faucet, beverage faucet, and soap dispenser, offering convenience without sacrificing style.

Decorative and Functional Features

A decorative custom designed metal screen built into the wall adds personality, serving as both an artful display and an architectural accent that makes this kitchen uniquely memorable. Our clients’ family name starts with a “C”, which you can find in the subtle screen design adding a personal touch to the home. The kitchen is also equipped with premium stainless-steel appliances, including a gas range, a built-in pizza oven and microwave, as well as a beverage refrigerator—making it ideal for home chefs.

Warmth from Hardwood Flooring

The remodel is grounded by engineered European oak hardwood flooring from the Tableau Collection in the “Latour” finish. The natural wood tones warm up the black-and-white palette, creating a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere.
