Mid-Century Inspired Bathroom Remodel in Monarch Beach

The Mid-Century style originated during the middle of the 20th century, when steel and compressed woods were all the rage. Characterized by clean lines and sleek, minimalistic designs, this modern look can add contemporary elegance as well as value to any home remodel. A great element that can help to build your mid-century design is the cabinetry scheme. Encapsulating the Mid-century modern design are sleek, floating Omega Full Access cherry wood cabinets featuring straightforward polished nickel hardware. A double vanity with undermount sinks is set into a polished quartz countertop in “Sereno Gold” featuring wide spread faucets in polished nickel. The sink and vanity niche feature a backsplash tiled in stacked glazed ceramic tiles in “shoji white”.  Three LED wall sconces put on an elegant display featuring a smooth aluminum rectangular backplate accenting an opal glass sphere. Adding a touch of modern luxury are two multifunctional lighted bathroom mirrors featuring make-up lighting, a demister to prevent the mirror from steaming up as well as a sound system. Adding a popular touch of Mid-century Modern style, the shower floor and two shower niches feature 2” round mosaic glazed ceramic tiles in “Kumo Gray” with an aluminum brushed nickel Schluter trim. A raised shower head in polished nickel features a sliding shower bar with a removable multifunction handheld shower wand. Adding dimension to the bathroom floors are Makoto, geometric tiles in “Shoji White”, completing the classic Mid-Century Modern look.
