Harmonious Kitchen & Family Room Remodel

About the Project

A Kitchen Designed for Living

The heart of the home features a thoughtfully designed kitchen where soft textures and refined finishes take center stage. A spacious central island in an Almond-finish anchors the space, topped with polished Vadar quartz countertops in Golden Scribe. A white undermount single-bowl sink is paired with a Luxe Gold single-handle pull-down faucet and matching soap dispenser. The island serves not only as a gathering hub but also as a workstation, complete with a built-in laptop storage nook and charging outlet.

Above, two Elizabeth glass pendant lights in clear glass and vintage brass provide soft, ambient lighting and a touch of timeless elegance.

The perimeter cabinetry by Waypoint, made of maple with a Painted Linen finish with Honey Bronze pulls, provides ample storage while contributing to the kitchen’s bright and open aesthetic. A custom hood, elegantly finished in a smooth White Roman Clay and an Almond trim, becomes a striking focal point above the slide-in range. The white herringbone-patterned porcelain backsplash from the Feliz Blanco series, paired with a Luxe Gold wall-mounted pot filler, brings a touch of glamour, subtle texture, and a crisp, clean backdrop to the space.

Purposeful Dining Spaces

Off to the side, a built-in banquette creates a cozy breakfast nook perfect for casual meals or afternoon coffee. Custom storage cabinetry including glass inserts provides a home for dishware and barware, while a sleek beverage fridge and espresso machine add hospitality-ready charm. Built-in floating shelves with subtle underlighting enhance both the ambiance and functionality, showcasing a decorative accent.

From Kitchen to Cozy

Hand-painted faux wood ceiling beams visually connect the kitchen to the adjoining family room, maintaining architectural consistency,  adding a rustic touch to the open layout.

The living space is grounded by luxury vinyl plank flooring in an Olmsted finish, which runs throughout the space, grounding the rooms in warm, natural tones.

A Fireplace Reimagined

In the family room, the fireplace has been transformed into a clean-lined focal point, clad in porcelain tiles from the Makado series in Soji White. Flanked by symmetrical custom built-ins in a warm Almond finish, the fireplace wall features a mounted TV above, marrying relaxation with practicality.
