Lounger’s Paradise: Coto de Caza California Room Remodel

This Coto de Caza home remodel included building a brand new California Room! This gorgeous lounger’s paradise creates a new outdoor living space for this family to enjoy together, perfect for game or movie nights.

This project required a total makeover of 225 square feet of space on the backside of this home. Sea Pointe Design & Remodel removed existing exterior pavers for new footings and electrical runs for this new layout. New roof framing, structural footings, and new ceiling frames were put into place to support the new heaters. A new water line was also installed for the ice maker meant for entertaining guests outside.

This modern porcelain plank flooring in Herringbone pattern offers a fun touch to this sweet outdoor retreat. This California Room creates a calm and lounging feel with the cool shiplap design on the feature wall. This built-in entertainment wall features a flat-screen TV, an electric fireplace, and weatherproof cabinetry with quartzite countertops above the beverage center.

Whether it is summer or winter, this California Room is equipped with the right necessities: a ceiling fan as well as two gas heaters. Surrounded by stunning pendant lights, this room can be enjoyed during the day or evening.
