Coastal Glam Kitchen Makeover in Tustin

Whoever coined the phrase ‘good things come in small packages’ could certainly have had this kitchen in mind! Although small in size, this kitchen remodel in Tustin is bursting at the seams with unique features and glamorous materials.

At first glance, you’ll be impressed by how bright and cheery the room looks. That’s due in part to a window above the sink that allows for plenty of natural light to stream into the kitchen. However, the feeling is further encouraged by white Kemper cabinets, white quartz countertops and white walls. Add in a stunning Elysium Mother of Pearl tile backsplash with a unique shell design and glossy finish and the room practically sparkles.

With the kitchen measuring approximately 110 square feet, it’s certainly not known for it’s spaciousness. Yet, the arrangement of cabinets, drawers, and shelving makes the most of the space it does have and provides plenty of storage options. Several upper cabinets are fitted with glass doors, creating a perfect spot to show off decorative items. And, in keeping with this year’s kitchen trends, floating shelves on one wall offer another place to display pictures, kitchenware, or other unique items. Each shelf has its own set of LED accent lights as well.

Last, but certainly not least, take notice of this kitchen’s peninsula … it’s full of function and personality with a waterfall edge, stunning quartz countertops, and ample bar seating for three. In addition, the range and range hood were relocated to this area to create a more connected feeling between the kitchen and the adjacent dining room.
